Fin-tastic Show

The Humpback Highway was busy on our whale watching cruise over the weekend. The team spotted early on our whale watching cruise a mother and calf who stayed close to our vessel for half an hour, they put on a show with partial and full breaches from the calf. A pod of 5 mature male whales came through and followed our vessel, one whale came across the bow of the vessel which was a rare and amazing sight with our passengers being able to capture some spectacular close up photographs. The other whales stayed port side of the vessel only 20 meters away! Towards the end of the cruise we saw many pods moving fast in the distance making the Humpback Highway very busy for the day! Images were taken by one of our passengers Anna Di - La Tartaruga.
